He made it onto the developmental level select soccer team and plans to tryout for a couple of school sports as well this year. We just can't believe how much he has grown but also appreciate his helpfulness and sense of humor. Even on our worst days, he can make us crack up.
As Sid moves into his teen years (he would tell me that is a lame thing to say), his baby sister is turning into a little toddler.
On her most recent doctor visit, Delaney weighed 20 lbs. (75th percentile) and measured 30 in. (95th). She has six teeth and moves constantly so most of our photos are blurry. Her party tricks include:
--Clapping her hands
--Singing la-la-la
--Pulling up to standing
--Climbing stairs
--Raising her arms for "so big!"
--Feeding herself (and practicing with a spoon)
--Smelling coffee (she makes a face and sniffs when she sees my cup every morning)
--Saying "mmmmmmm" if you ask what sound a cow makes...along with dada, nana, baba, mama, and other things we can't yet translate
--Going underwater and kicking and floating in the pool
